LABID – Laboratory of IDEAS is part of CICS.NOVA, having the goal of contributing to the achievement of the main objectives of the strategic development of this research unit. It is a Permanent Interface Structure to support and stimulate innovation, promoting scientific innovation by fostering new ideas and original projects, taking a multi and interdisciplinary approach.
Considering LABID’s interdisciplinary and multi-location nature, as well as its dimension, the developed activities enable: 1) the strengthening of the interconnection between members; 2) the creation of cooperation opportunities and synergies between programmes and projects; 3) the development of a scientific culture that reinforces the identity of the collective; 4) the production of transversal scientific outputs.
Heading LABID is a Coordinator elected by the Scientific Council. LABID is composed by, at least, a member of each RG and by the coordinators of the Thematic Lines (TL).
