SPIRECTS | Spiritual practices and psychedelic substances in ritualized emerging contexts: therapeutic and sociocultural implications

Goals

The SPIRECTS project combines the study of spiritual practices with the observation of ritual uses of psychedelics. It aims to analyze the socio-cultural and therapeutic implications of such practices from the perspective of both participants and facilitators.

Spirituality is understood broadly here, including informal and non-institutional practices with a collective component, studied through what we call “ritualized emerging contexts”.
