Bio note
Bachelor's degree in Social Work from the Instituto Superior Bissaya Barreto. Master's degree in European Comparative Social Studies from London Metropolitan University. Specialist qualification in Social Work from the Polytechnic Institute of Leiria. PhD in Psychology from the University of Turin. He is currently an Adjunct Professor at the School of Education and Social Sciences of the Polytechnic Institute of Leiria (ESECS-IPL), where he coordinates the Postgraduate and Master's Degree in Management and Administration of Social Intervention Organisations. He is a researcher at CICS.NOVA in Leiria and a social worker and technical director at an IPSS (Private Social Solidarity Institution) in the district of Leiria, where he has coordinated several action research projects on social and community intervention.
