Bio note
Graduate and PhD in Sociology. Currently a researcher at CICS.NOVA.UÉvora and trainer. Former lecturer in the Department of Sociology at the University of Évora. Former member of the promoting committee of the Portuguese Evaluation Society and currently a member of the Brazilian Monitoring and Evaluation Network. He has been a supervisor or co-supervisor of bachelor's and master's theses on the evaluation of social projects, local development and prospective research. As part of his teaching career, he has provided support to municipal social networks and various local development and social intervention projects, roles he has continued to perform as a member of the research centres to which he has belonged. He has also worked as a consultant, evaluator, or team member, on a self-employed basis, on various Equal, PROGRIDE, Interreg, and Ser Criança projects, socioeconomic diagnoses, and strategic plans. As a trainer, he has given training courses on: i) Social intervention projects, ii) Project evaluation, iii) Facilitators in Entrepreneurship and Social Innovation.
