Bio note
Carolina Machado PhD in Business Sciences, University of Minho, 1999; Master's in Management, ISEG/UTL, 1994; and Bachelor's in Business Management, University of Minho, 1989. Professor in the area of Human Resource Management since 1989 at the University of Minho, she has been an Associate Professor since 2004, with Aggregation since 2022, with experience and research interests in the areas of HRM, IRM, HRM in SMEs, F&D, Emotional Intelligence, Sustainability, Industry 5. 0, Change Management. Head of HRM at the School of Economics, Management and Political Science at the University of Minho, Coordinator of Advanced Training Courses at the Interdisciplinary Centre for Social Sciences at the University of Minho (CICS.NOVA.UMinho), as well as Editor-in-Chief of the International Journal of Applied Management Sciences and Engineering, guest editor of international journals, book editor and editor-in-chief of book series, as well as reviewer for various prestigious international journals. She has published as editor/co-editor and as author/co-author several books, book chapters and articles in journals and national and international conferences.
