Bio note
António Almeida holds a PhD in Education Sciences, a Master's degree in Education in Science Methodology, and a degree in Geology Teaching. He completed postdoctoral studies in Geoethics, which strongly influenced the content of this work. He currently serves as Coordinating Professor at the School of Education of the Polytechnic Institute of Lisbon. He has extensive experience in initial and continuing teacher training. He has been coordinating academic and professional master's degrees in the field of education. He has published several works in the field of Science Didactics and Environmental Education, and is also the author of books in the field of children's literature. He is the author of several articles published in international and national journals in the fields of Science Didactics, Science Epistemology, Environmental Education and Environmental Ethics.
