Bio note
PhD in Sociology from the University of Évora and holder of the title of Specialist Professor in the Scientific Area of Diagnostic and Therapeutic Technologies (Radiology/Imaging). He also holds a Master's degree in Sociology – Socio-Organisational Intervention in Health, with a specialisation in Health Services Administration and Management Policies, and a Bachelor's degree in Radiology. His scientific activity has developed in the areas of healthcare and sociology. His current research interests include prospective analysis, the study of professions, organisations and work in the healthcare field. Development and professional autonomy, as well as the centrality of the patient in healthcare.
