Bio note
Ana Paula Ferreira is an Assistant Professor at the School of Economics and Management of the University of Minho and a researcher at CICS.NOVA.UMinho. She has developed research in the areas of training, employability and career development, with publications in international journals and publishers, and contributions on career shocks and transitions (examples: https://doi.org/10.1108/ER-09-2018-0249; doi.org/10.1108/MRR-06-2022-0440 ; https://doi.org/10.1007/978-3-031-52811-8_7). She has experience in coordinating and teaching master's programmes in Management, and has held various positions on management committees throughout her career. In addition to her academic career, she has also worked in the banking sector and in organisational consultancy. Her work seeks to combine an academic perspective with a practical approach to contemporary professional challenges.
