Bio note
He holds a Master's degree in Physical Geography and a PhD in Geography from the Institute of Geography and Spatial Planning of the University of Lisbon (IGOT-ULisboa). He is currently an Assistant Professor at the University of Évora. He was a postdoctoral fellow on the project Pessoas&Fogo: Reducing Risk, Living with Risk (Instituto Superior de Agronomia) and was part of the research team on the project exPERts - organising planning knowledge: housing policy and the role of experts in the Special Rehousing Programme (PER).
Her research interests are: floods, rural fires, social consequences of natural and environmental hazards, risk assessment and management, housing, geography of discontent and spatial planning.
