Goals:	The objectives of this study are: (a) To carry out a gender equality analysis in the various sectors of the economy of the sea, taking into account the reality of the public sector, the private sector and the related sectors and influencers of the economy of the sea; (b) to identify existing gender inequalities in the economy of the sea and to identify their causes, preferably aligned with the socio-economic perspective; c) to present recommendations and proposals for concrete measures leading to the correction, mitigation and elimination of inequalities; d) Propose a base plan for equality for the sea sector that promotes and integrates diversity and non-discrimination as factors of competitiveness, innovation and development.
