Domingos Martins Vaz is a professor of sociology at the University of Beira Interior and an integrated researcher of CICS.Nova (Interdisciplinary Center for Social Sciences of the New University of Lisbon). He has developed research on urban and rural issues, territorial planning and local and regional development, on which he published: four books, one as author and three in organization; several chapters of books; and articles in specialty magazines, national and foreign.
