Carlos Alberto da Silva is currently Professor of the Department of Sociology of the School of Social Sciences of the University of Évora, coordinator of the pole CICS.NOVA.UÉvora (2020-2022) and member of the Observatory of Technology Assessment. He holds the title in Sociology of Organizations, the PhD and Master's degrees in Sociology, the Bachelor's degree in Applied Social Research, and the Bachelor in Radiology. He was a Radiology Technician and a Senior Technician in the Alentejo Regional Health Administration. He has over 25 years of experience in teaching and coordinating research teams in national and international projects, namely in the areas of organisations, work and health, evaluation of social projects, evaluation of health technologies and cross-border studies.
