Lia T. Vasconcelos holds a PhD (1997); a Master in Community Planning (1982), University of Rhode Island, USA); Architect, 1977. Professor at DCEA-NOVA FCT and integrated researcher in MARE-NOVA (www.mare-centre.pt/). She focuses her research in innovative processes of collaborative decision, mobilizing and involving multi-stakeholders aiming new forms of governance. She has coordinated the participative component of various national and international projects and she is editor/co-editor of various books (e.g., Sustainability in the 21st century – The Power of Dialogue, 2015) and author of a set of scientific publications in periodicals (www.wteamup.com).
