The CICS.NOVA community came together on 11 and 12 September for the NEXUS Collaborative Meeting: Science in Network, a space for reflection and participatory engagement.
The meeting continued the work developed during the meetings held in October and January and is aligned with CICS.NOVA’s strategic objectives for the 2025–2029 period.
This was an opportunity to openly and collaboratively discuss scientific and institutional issues relevant to the future of the Centre, strengthening the links between research and advanced training. It also provided a valuable space for fostering connections and knowledge-sharing among researchers, faculty members, PhD students and master’s students, contributing to the cohesion of our scientific community.
We also welcomed Professor Olga Pombo as a guest speaker, who delivered the keynote “The Role of Interdisciplinarity in Contemporary Science.”
More than discussing interdisciplinarity, we want to put it into practice.
